Business trip to Fredericksburg, Wimberly, and Austin. Dinner at Friedhelms Bavarian Inn. Great ribeye steak, German style. got to visit with our friends Jerry and Penny and their amazing twin daughters, 14 years old.

Thursday, April 15th, Dinner with old friend Maggie and her husband Marshall, at The Roadhouse in Bastop. We had fun catching up with them. It's been over five years since we have seen them.

Camping on Friday at Mission Tejas, outside Crockett. Tiny, historical, State Park, was so peaceful and had fun with Kim, Kevin, and Ellis. Too bad rains came Saturday morning while we were having camp brealfast. We had to break camp & pack up as heavy rains were expected.
At home in riverside, Kat & I had a ribeye steak, baked potato, and asparagus.

Saturday April 10th, 2010

Kat & I drove to Houston today to see "For The Sake Of The Song", a movie about Anderson Fair. I started going to the Fair right after it opened in 1969 for lunch & there was local singer/songwriters who occasionally played there. The movie was really great. Bruce Bryant did a fine job directing and there were many memories revived. The firts movie we have gone to see in quite a few years. Really great date night.

Got to spend some time with Ellis, our grandson. That is always a treat.
